Sometimes the simplest photo shoots and the best. And by simple I mean a park, a blanket and some bubbles. Oh and a slide. And a swing. And a very loved bunny.
And by best, I mean BEST.

Isn’t she the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen?
Her and her mom live in San Diego and were here visiting family so we met up for a SIMPLE session and it was awesome. They just hung out, Dawn and I chatted, I photographed and it was all good. Nothing posed. Nothing staged.
And in twenty years I hope Zoey will look back on these photos and see her and her mom. Just hanging out. Being together. And she’ll see how much love there was in their little family. Because Dawn is an incredible mom.

Definitely LOVE the b/w of the bunny picture. Both are great, but the b/w stands out to me as pretty darn close to perfect, for what it’s worth.
Jodie – Thank You Thank You Thank You!!! I LOVE them! They are JUST what I wanted – just me and Z (and bunny) hanging out and doing our thing! You captured the essential Z! We are traveling with limited internet access now, but I can’t WAIT to show them to all our extended family! You ROCK! I think we’ll try to make a Jodie appointment at least once a year when we come home to St. Lou!
Oh, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE that bunny by the ear photo! Too cool with the bubbles! I would blow that up huge and put it in my house if that was my daughter!
