peace and quiet.

Oh thank goodness yesterday is but a memory already. That was one hell of a day I never want to relive. Screaming baby, crabby/fighting girls, pee on the floor twice (once from each girl), two clogged toilets, getting nothing done… really I think the bad day was more on me not being able to handle a normal day at our house for some reason. Maybe I’ve hit my no sleep limit or something. I was just as crabby as the kids and all together we just weren’t meshing.
But today is a new day. Grayson is happier and C’s mom rescued me and took the girls! It’s truly amazing what a little peace and quiet around here does for my soul. Gray is sleeping, iTunes is playing softly, the house is picked up, a shower is in my future and I can check email/read blogs for a few minutes uninterrupted. So nice. Thank you Wednesday for not sucking like Tuesday did. I appreciate it!
Last night I had a great time with Emily. Face time with another woman feeds my soul too. And I love our friendship b/c she truly understands my love of photography and blogging… two things I can’t talk with many people about. Thanks Em! It was great to see you!
Before I lose this quiet time I’m going to shower. I am all for blogging, but showering is nice too every once in a while!
I’m in a GET MOVING mood so we’ll see how much I can tackle with one kid today! Laundry, LOOK OUT! Floors, a mop is in your future and Toilet just get out of my way! Some Kuhn Const. work and wedding edits are on my list too. Slow down time so I can savor this LETS GO day!
