Photo 365 in 2008

I love opening a brand new book, visiting places I’ve never been, watching season premieres, welcoming a new baby into the world and staring wide eyed into the face of a new year. All hold exciting new adventures just waiting to be discovered.
This year my goal is to simplify.
I’m sick of the clutter, the mess, the toys, the unfinished projects and the stress all of that brings into this house. I am going to be better about clearing out the junk to make way for the peace. My cleaning blitz this week has brought such joy and simplicity to me that I’m going to continue it all year. To the best of my ability of course.
I’m also setting out on a new journey. Photo 365. This year I am going to take a photo a day and post them here. Then at the end of the year I will create a book that will document our year. That photo above is the first in a very long line of photos to come. Ali Edwards mentioned this on her blog and after browsing the site I fell in love with the idea. What an amazing way to keep my camera in my hands daily, to capture the more mundane parts of life and help me become a better photographer. I am in love with this idea. {Note: I will post my Photos A Day as often as possible, I am not promising to BLOG 365 days this year.}
