the bailey update

While she’s sleeping and Parker is playing I wanted to update you all on Bailey so that prayers will start spreading far and wide.
The fever is still 102+ and we’re on day 6. Saw the doctor yesterday who ran some tests, all negative. Took a urine sample (myself!) this morning and went back to the doctor this morning. The urine test came back inconclusive, but suspiscious. They gave her two shots in her hip (one of the top worst experiences in my life) with aggressive antibiotics. If they work and the fever breaks today then it was possibly a urinary tract infection and will get better. If the fever doesn’t break then when we go back tomorrow (either way we see the doc tomorrow) they will do an ultra sound of her kidneys and possibly admit her to the hospital. Apparently this can be very dangerous. The doc was all business today and very serious. I’m starting to worry, but am still hopeful.
